Tired of Leftovers Yet?

With Thanksgiving done, many homes are filled with the remnants of dinner.  While the first turkey sandwich or slice of turkey pot pie might be enjoyable, several days later the thrill of leftovers seems to fade.  Family members can be heard begging, “Please! No mystery turkey casserole tonight.”

Giving a Little Room

As a parent, it can be a constant battle:  do I hover and protect or let her try on her own?  In this role, you are supposed to care for your child.  However, you also want to raise a child that can function independently.  So, when is a parent supposed to give a little room and let your child try things on his own?
