If you love animals, you understand the bond that is formed between
pet and owner. No matter the length of time that the animal is part of your life, losing him or her is painful.
Sometimes a good way to deal with this pain is to write about it and share your story with others. On our sister site, Feathers Fins and Fur, one of our writers tells the story of her puppy, Shocker. Reading this will remind you how strong of a connection there can be between people and animals.

As much as I enjoy cooking and baking, there are times when I want dinner to be an easy to prepare
meal. Perhaps it has been a long day at work, or maybe I just want to be lazy. Whatever the reason, occasionally I want to spend more time on the couch and less time in the kitchen.
When a night like that arrives, sometimes I will order food, but usually I try to find something tasty and healthy that I can make in minutes. Last week I made a hot, veggie packed dinner with only 5 or so minutes of prep work required. Although the dish simmered for half an hour, my presence wasn’t required. To try my recipe, Zucchini Tomato Bliss, visit our sister site, Tasty Thoughts.

As you look out your windows, what do you see? Are there icicles dangling from your roof and piles of snow
along the side of the road? If so, does looking at all of those cold, wintry reminders leave you feeling chilly?
A nice way to warm yourself on a cold winter night is a hot cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa. However, if you want to make that hot beverage extra special, you can add an ingredient or two. Visit our sister site, Parched No More, for a warm and delicious coffee recipe that is sure to please.
