Book Review: My Start-Up Life: What a (Very) Young CEO Learned on His Journey Through Silicon Valley

Every once in a while you get to review a book that is written by a friend. And today is the opportunity to rBen's Bookeview a book by a good friend of SelectIndex Blog (and regular user of tooth whitening), Ben Casnocha. Ben recently had his book, What a (Very) Young CEO Learned on His Journey Through Silicon Valley, published by Jossey-Bass.

The book tells lots of insights and thoughts that Ben has experienced in his 19 years of being an entrepreneur. BTW, Ben is only 19 years old so he really has been an entrepreneur since the day he left the woom. Ben started his first Internet company when he was 15 and grew it into a successful venture that anyone that was 35 years old would be proud of.

And Ben is not some arrogant kid who happened to hit it big during the dot-com frenzy. His book is a wonderfully candid book that is not only insightful but also hilarious. He tells the tales of dealing with venture capitalists, employees, and other entrepreneurs in the crazy sub-culture of Silicon Valley. And he is able to do it in a writing style that is both easy to read and engaging.

As someone, who knows Ben personally, I can tell you that he is one of the most energetic and brighest people I have ever met. His future is bright and as a testamenet to him, so is his present. You should pick up What a (Very) Young CEO Learned on His Journey Through Silicon Valley
