Want to Own the Property in Singapore

Sunday, May 4th, 2008 by Michele

Since the Singapore property market is very hot nowadays, so everybody is interested in owning the property in Singapore. Some of the necessary steps that a buyer can follow to purchase the property in Singapore are: -

1 Appointing a real estate agent: -

  • It is very much necessary to involve a real estate agent in the transaction of the property in Singapore. A real estate agent or a property dealer is representative from your side throughout the purchasing and selling of the property.
  • Also try to stay with only a single agent because if you contact different estate agents than it can create confusion later on and you can be shown the same property again as all the estate agents access the same database.
  • Also try to be frank with your agent regarding the location, cost and dimension of the property. This could help your agent to find out the ideal residency in Singapore. Moreover the agent must be your consultant and legal advisor in the transaction of the property.

2. Decide the property according to your needs: -

  • When you mention your need to the property agents precisely and accurately then he will find out the desired property.
  • Then the next step is that you have to visit to different selected units.
  • So when you are inspecting the property, give extra attention to fixtures and furnishing in the property and also note that all the arrangements are proper or not.
  • Don’t hesitate in negotiating for the renovation of the property and also go for the bargaining of the residence.

Internet Piracy Most Harmful to Global Film Industry: Rocsearch Report

Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 by admin

Like tooth decay is to dental health and will eventually cause you to have teeth implants, that is what piracy is doing to the film industry.

RocSearch, a fast-growing, UK-based, business research and analytics firm, released a report analyzing the global film industry from 1995 to 2005.

This RocSearch report analyses the global revenues that come from the worldwide production and distribution of movies. It places individual focus on different countries and their level of investments.

The study explores the globalization of cinema with comparison of the key filmmaking territories and profiles of the major production houses. A PEST analysis and a future outlook of the worldwide film industry have also been presented.

The report notes that the global film industry is highly concentrated with Hollywood studios dominating all the major markets such as Europe and Japan. However, the Asia Pacific region accounted for the majority (59.9%) of world cinema admissions in 2005.

RocSearch analysts forecast that, barring some radical changes in government policies, the industry is likely to experience single digit growth over the next four to five-year horizon and post revenues exceeding US$110 billion from US$21.5 billion in 2005.

The report findings reveal that Internet piracy is the leading cause of harm to the industry than any other mode of piracy and, in 2005, MPAA studios lost US$2.3 billion worldwide to internet piracy.

The report also analyzes the effects of popularity and competition from other modes of delivery channels like DVD and VCDs. It throws light on the use of technology by major companies to develop new revenue models and reduce distribution costs.

Sunday, June 10th, 2007 by admin

AfricaYou.Com is a new website that at first look would seem like the oldest kind of website: advertising online. Far from this first concept, AfricaYou.Com delivers in Cape Verde a new way of thinking about Internet. It is needed to remember that in Africa Internet is not like in USA or Europe, where it is a service like water or eletricity.

The AfricaYou.Com organization, besides developing the AfricaYou.Com website, also joins EAWebz Informatica on providing services to get the people of Cape Verde used to enjoy Internet as USA or Europe people does.

Earlier this week, AfricaYou.Com starts a Internet Access store, with VoIP and Fast Wireless Internet at the middle of Sucupira Market, that is a tipical african market like people outside africa see in movies. Now it is possible to read your mails with your notebook or talk to your relatives all around the world in a Africn Market in Africa.

This is the main target of the AfricaYou.Com project: Changing the way how people in Africa use Internet, to really get the Internet in Africa as it should be.
