So You’re a Web Designer?
The Internet is becoming more and more popular in today’s jobs, especially as technology is moving forward. People’s initial thoughts of being a webmaster are simply sitting in a big comfy chair and designing a Website. Once you have done it, you simply move onto the next.
Well, that’s where the majority of new web designers fail. It’s simply not a case of making a Web page and then leaving it to make money. Web design is only the first half of it. Once it’s made, you have to get traffic and make it SEO friendly. It’s a natural fact that you can’t be good at every aspect of being a webmaster, but there are quite a few who can!
For those who are not talented at all aspects, don’t worry. You can hire SEO companies (like you can car hire) who will take care of the link building, search engine ranking, and building traffic side of things, while you can sit happily in your comfy chair making Websites.
However, everything comes at a cost. The more you pay out, the less you make, so it’s vital that every webmaster learns the basic strategies of making his or her websites search engine friendly. It’s not that hard, but it is very time consuming. One basic strategy is building quality links. You can start by contacting relevant sites offering to exchange links, or you can even pay to get a one way link, which will be more beneficial in the long run.
There are many tips and tricks you can find on the Internet. If you put the time and effort in, you will be rewarded by getting valid traffic, which will boost your site’s earning potential and value.

I have no talent at all in web design, no matter how I learn I always ended up doing horrible design. For me writing is far more easier than designing.
